Apache Junction sits where the valley floor runs out and the Superstitions start. It is four markets wearing one name: the older in-town grid, the newer subdivisions south along the highway, the acreage north and east toward the mountains, and the manufactured home and RV resorts that fill up every winter.

Mesa is the biggest city in the East Valley and it has the inventory to match. Whatever you are looking for, some version of it exists here: 1970s ranches near downtown, golf communities on the east side, new build out toward the county line.

San Tan Valley is where buyers go when the lot matters. It is newer than most of the East Valley, still filling in, and the same money buys noticeably more house and more yard than it does thirty minutes west.
